Information for Renewal and Repeating of Grants

Renewal of Grants (only for those who received a grant the previous academic year)

  • Scholars interested in applying for the renewal of their grant (continuing for the same degree) should choose a Renewal application and follow relevant instructions.  
  • Regarding password details for last year's successful entries only: The system has stored login details.
  • Reference Letter: A new reference letter (written within the last 3 months) will be necessary.
  • Progress Report: A progress report must be submitted with the application.  It is a descriptive text written by the Scholar (the recommended word limit is 500 words) informing us on their academic progress during the last academic year for which an educational grant has been awarded.  It is advisable to upload the latest transcripts as well (report and transripts scanned as one document).  
  • All applications for Renewal of grants to be submitted between 1st and 31st of March (24:00 GMT). 
  • Submission of the application will also be confirmed by email. 

Repeating of Grants

  • Scholars who have received an educational grant (for up to a 2-year-period) and would like to apply for another concerning a new degree should choose a Repeat application and follow relevant instructions.
  • Scholars who missed the deadline for the renewal of their grant the previous year.  
  • Regarding password details for last year's successful entries only: The system has stored login details.
  • Reference letter: A new reference letter will be necessary.
  • All applications for Repeating of a grant to be submitted between the 1st and 31st of March (24:00 GMT).  

The A. G. Leventis Foundation offers educational grants for a maximum of 3 academic years, cumulatively. No applications will be accepted beyond the completion of three years.
